Disability & Vocational Rehabilitation Management
I provide expert disability and vocational rehabilitation management services to individuals, employers and organizations. I create collaborative, medically-approved wellness plans for employees whose work lives have been interrupted by illness or injury that promote recovery and ensure a return to work as soon as is safely possible. While employees benefit by having confidential, knowledgeable neutral support and direction while in recovery, employers are reassured that their staff member is accessing required treatment in a timely way, and that an approved return to work plan will be available without delay. Employers can plan staffing accordingly.
When a return to work with the pre-disability employer isn’t possible, employees need specialist assistance as finding new work options after serious illness or injury is challenging. My advanced skills and experience make it much easier than trying to navigate the future alone. I provide exceptional vocational rehabilitation services which consider the hierarchy of return to work to help people find gainful safe employment once again.
I have extensive experience working with a wide range of employers in different fields, including unionized employees, first responders, public employees including decades of work with teachers, and health professionals to name a few. I also have extensive experience working with Canadian insurers including ICBC, WorksafeBC, Desjardins, HBT, Pacific Blue Cross, Great West Life/Canada Life, Wawanesa, Empire Life, Manulife, Sunlife, SSQ, Manitoba Public Insurance, RBC, the Federal government’s vocational rehabilitation program, and WorkBC.
Case management services are billed monthly, on an hourly basis for $125/hr.
